Description

Our brand new GCN Pro Team Winter Jacket is the ultimate, high-performance cycling jacket from our partners, ASSOS of Switzerland. More performance, less volume, this jacket is created for riders who strive to test and push their limits.

Made from ASSOS custom built fabric with ultrathin 3-layer laminated fabric and cutting-edge membrane technology. When the temperature drops, the membrane closes helping you retain body heat. When the temperature inside your jacket increases as you pedal hard, the membrane opens to facilitate the movement of moisture away from your body and help you maintain optimum core temperature.

Combining 13 panels and 7 different textiles, this winter jacket construction is centred around performance. The chest panel, upper arms and collar, areas often exposed to the elements, are especially designed to block wind. The sides, lower arms and back panels feature ASSOS unique fabric that actively breathes with a push-pull moisture and heat retention technology.

This winter jacket was designed to be worn as a second layer over our GCN Pro Team Winter Jersey.

Product Features

Construction: JacketClubGear features 13 pattern pieces and 7 different textiles. The chest panel, upper arms and collar are made from ASSOS stratagonMedium fabric, which acts as a wind block. The sides, lower arms and back panels feature ASSOS RX, our actively breathable heat retention textile, for perfect body temperature control.

Fabric: StratagonMedium has an ultrathin 3-layer laminated fabric construction. It features the latest in membrane technology: flexible barrier function. When the temperature is low, the membrane reduces permeability – the membrane closes, helping to retain body heat. As the temperature inside your microClima increases, such as when you start working harder on the bike, the membrane opens to facilitate the evaporation process, ensuring maintenance of your body temperature.

RX-Textil: RX is a highly breathable, two-way stretch, soft-touch, microfiber insulator fabric. Specially engineered for cooler conditions, this hollow fibre micro polyester creates a perfect push-pull effect optimizes wicking and drying, for optimal body heat retention.
